The following is a summary of recent standard test updates. Our company CTT has the ability to test the following standards before. Please pay attention to the implementation date/effective date of the new standard!

The new version of the EU standard for baby trollers EN 1888-2:2018+A1:2022
European standardization The Committee (CEN) has released a new version of the standard EN 1888-2:2018+A1:2022 for children’s trolleys, which is suitable for trolleys for children above 15 kg and below 22 kg, replacing the old standard EN 1888-2:2018. June 30, 2023 The old version will be abolished from this date. Currently EN 1888-1:2018+A1:2022 has been implemented (the company has no capacity for standard test). EU trolleys need to be tested in combination with EN 1888-1 and EN 1888-2.
The main updates are as follows:
Clause 7.1 revised the background color of the symbol to highlight the existence of the white border, and added 4 notes to explain.
Clause 7.2 has amended the requirement that the maximum weight and age of each child for which the pushchair is suitable shall be indicated by a statement of use or illustration.
Australia/New Zealand updated toy standard AS/NZS 8124.1:2023.
On February 24, 2023 Australia/New Zealand updated the toys standard AS/NZS 8124.1:2023 on February 24, 2023, and it will take effect immediately after publication, but the standard itself is a voluntary standard, not a mandatory standard. There is no original text at present, and it is impossible to understand the detailed changes.
