In order to protect consumer legitimate rights, the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia together with other countries in theworld has established special notification systems to provide information of products which may cause risk to people health andsafety.A total of 12 notifications of children’s toys were declared in EU RAPEX, 4 notification in Australian product safety recalls officialwebsite, 2 notification in Healthy Canadians official website, 1 notification in CPSC official website during the 35th and the 36thweek of 2018. Except the notification in Australian product safety recalls official website, in which the original country of toys arenot mentioned, up to 14 notifications of children’s toys are from China among all those notifications. Toys were notified becauseof containing or releasing small parts easily, high phthalates content, containing or releasing small, high-powered magnets, etc.Some toys were notified for more than one reason.
