EU, USA and Canada have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information andmeasures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safetyof consumers. Notification in 2018 report 09 on Textile & Leather products from China is presented in the followingtable. There were total 22 notifications in September with 11 notifications from China. Notifications of productsfrom China mainly involve girl's bikini, children’s shirt, children’s shorts, children’s clothing set with injury and strangulation risks, girls’ trousers and children’s coveralls with choking hazard, toiletry bag containing excess Cd, andleather bracelet containing excess Cr (VI).
