In order to protect consumer legitimate rights, the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia together with other countries in theworld has established special notification systems to provide information of products which may cause risk to people health andsafety.A total of 27 notifications of children’s toys were declared in EU RAPEX,1 notification in Healthy Canadians official website, nonotification in CPSC official website and Australian product safety recalls official website during the 1st and the 2nd week of 2019.Up to 23 notifications of children’s toys are from China among all those notifications. Toys were notified because of containing orreleasing small parts easily, high phthalates content, containing a small magnet with a high magnetic flux etc.. Some toys werenotified for more than one reason.
