Safeguard-CTT-TL-S19001 Textile & Leather Products Recall Notifications-2019 report 01

EU, USA, Canada and Australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of informationand measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health andsafety of consumers. Notification in 2019 report 01 on Textile & Leather products is presented in the following table.There were total 16 notifications in January with 6 notifications from China. Notifications of products mainly involvebabies' clothing set, children's clothing set, girls' shoes and children's boots with choking hazard, babies' clothing setwith choking and strangulation risks, girls' clothing set with choking and injury risks, and leather breeches, leathergloves and men’s shoes containing excessive Cr (VI).
