EU, USA, Canada and Australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of informationand measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health andsafety of consumers. Notification in 2019 report 02 on Textile & Leather products is presented in the following table.There were total 19 notifications in February with 8 notifications from China. Notifications of products mainly involvechildren’s shoes, children's dress, children’s clothing set with choking hazard, children's dress, children’s clothing setwith choking and injury risks, sleep bag, baby cover up with flammability hazard, children's sweatshirt, children'sjumpsuit with strangulation risks, children's dress containing excessive AZO dyes, ladies’ sandals and children’slederhosen containing excessive Cr (VI).
