In order to protect consumer legitimate rights, the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia together with other countries in theworld has established special notification systems to provide information of products which may cause risk to people health andsafety.A total of 17 notifications of children’s toys were declared in EU RAPEX,1 notification in Australian product safety recalls officialwebsite, no notification in CPSC official website or Healthy Canadians official website during the 13rd and the 14th week of 2019.Except the notification in Australian product safety recalls official website, in which the original country of toys are not mentioned,up to 14 notifications of children’s toys are from China among all those notifications. Toys were notified because of containing orreleasing small parts easily, high phthalates content, high lead and cadmium content of RoHS etc.. Some toys were notified formore than one reason.
