Safeguard-CTT-TL-S19008 Textile & Leather Products Recall Notifications-2019 report 08

EU, USA, Canadaand Australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. Notification in 2019 report 08 on Textile & Leather products is presented in the following table. There were total 19 notifications in August with 6 notifications from China. Notifications of products mainly involve children’sdress and shirt , girls' dress andjumpsuit, Children's rainsuit with injuries and strangulation, children's clothing set with chocking hazard, bath robes , pyjamas, short sleeve,cardigan,sweet & soft pants, sleepwear with flammability hazard, hiking sandals containing excessive Cr(VI),underwearcontaining excessive nickel.
