EU, USA, Canada and Australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of informationand measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health andsafety of consumers. Notification in 2019 report 12 on Textile & Leather products is presented in the following table.There were total 25 notifications in December with 12 notifications from China. Notifications of products mainly involveChildren's blouse, dress, tracksuit, hooded sweaters, jacket,etc. with injuries and strangulation, Children's shoes andDenim pants with chocking hazard, Children's shorts containing excessive Cr (VI).
