EU, USA, Canada  and Australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. CTT Textile and Leather Recall Notification Alert No. 1 of 2021 summarizes the first quarter notification information related to textile and leather products. The EU, Canada and Australia reported a total of 34 cases during the period and no recall cases in the U.S. market.
