Recently, the EU Official Journal released a notification of EC, listing the latest harmonized standards of toy safety.
Toy Safety Directive of EU (2009/48/EC) has been into force over 27countries of EU, which emphasizes that the manufacturers must ensure that toys and contained chemicals will pose no danger to the safety and health of users or others when used in an intended or foreseeable way. The toy complied with the harmonized standards is presumed to meet the basic safety regulations of the toy directive.
The latest list of toy safety standards include all toy coordination standards of the EU adopted over the years. The safety concerned covers the mechanical and physical properties of toys, chemical toys, finger paints, swings, slides and similar activity toys for outdoor family domestic use, electric toys etc.
