EU RoHS Directive

EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) is the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic

Equipment. RoHS Directive covers a wide range of products. It covers almost all products such as electronics, electrical

appliances, medical care, communication, toys and security information. The RoHS Directive currently restricts the use of ten substances. It is required that each homogeneous material should not contain harmful substances above the limit.

Scope under 2011/65/EU：

1. Large household appliances;

2. Small household appliances;

3. IT and telecommunication equipment;

4. Consumer equipment;

5. Liahting equipment;

6. Electrical and electronic tools;

7. Toys, leisure and sport equipment;

8. Medical devices;

9. Monitoring and control instruments including industrial monitoring and control instruments;

10. Automatic dispensers;

11. Other electrical and electronic equipment not covered by any of the categories above.

Hazardous Substances and Limits：

RoHS is the most basic entry threshold for electronic and electrical products to enter the EU market. If the products are

exported to the EU, they need to meet the requirements of EU RoHS. CTT suggest related enterprises to carry out measures to comply with the latest EU requirement on electrical and electronicsproducts, to ensure the trade smoothly.

欧盟 RoHS 指令

欧盟 RoHS 指令（2011/65/EU），即欧盟电子电气设备中限制使用某些有害物质指令，英文全称为 The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment。RoHS 指令涉及的产品范围相当广泛，几乎涵盖了所有电子、电器、医疗、通信、玩具、安防信息等产品。目前，RoHS 管控物质共有十项，要求每一均质材料中均不得含有高于限值的有害物质。

产品范围：

1. 大型家用电气设备；

2. 小型家用电气设备；

3. 信息技术和远程通讯设备；

4. 消费性用户设备；

5. 照明设备；

6. 电子电气工具；

7. 玩具、休闲和运动设备；

8. 医疗器械；

9. 监视和控制仪器；

10. 自动售货机；

11. 不在上面 10 类内的其他电子电气设备。

限用物质及其限量要求：

RoHS 是电子电气产品进入欧盟市场最基本的准入门槛。产品若出口到欧盟，需要满足欧盟 RoHS 的要求。作为专业的第三方检测机构，CTT 建议广大企业尽早按照要求对产品进行排查审核，以确保产品符合欧盟对电子电气产品的管控要求，保证贸易的顺利进行。
