To update the current law, the bulletin of G/TBT/N/ARG /261 about the maximum limits of lead, arsenic and zinc in wine was published by Argentina on 3rd May, 2011.
Bulletin include: 1. The maximum limits of lead in wine were emended as 0.15mg/L in the resolution OENO No.13/2006 which were ruled in resolution No.C.143/1994 specified in article 1 and the resolution No.C.018/1997. 2. The maximum limits of arsenic and zinc were respectively set as 0.2 mg/L and 5mg/L (the OIV and southern common market wine regulations).
Exported wine must comply with the laws on the maximum limits of arsenic, lead and zinc, whether they are below the maximum limits set in this regulations or not.
