On November 29th 2011, the mandatory test requirement of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) under GS Mark was amended by adding new requirements on 2 additional PAH substances. As a result, these two newly adding PAHs are to be tested in the coming days for appiying the GS Mark.
The two newly-adding substances are Benzo[j]fluoranthene and Benzo[e]pyrene, and this brings the total number of regulated PAH to 18.
For any GS Mark certificate issued after July 1st 2012, it is mandatory to meet requirements under ZEK 01.4-08.
However, some exemptions of this practice are described in ZEK 01.4-08.
