Bulgaria notified Girl’s shoes containing DMF and small parts

EU has built up a specific mechanism to notify products violating relevant regulations and standards for the sake of consumers. The notification for non-food consumer products is called RAPEX. Bulgaria requires compulsory withdrawal of the notified Girl’s shoes from the market for they contain DMFu and small parts.

In the light of REACH Annex XVII Entry 61 “Dimethylfumarate”, articles or any parts containing DMFu in a concentration greater than 0.1 mg/kg shall not be placed on the market. Comparing to the limit under REACH, we can find that the content of DMFu in the slipper is far greater than the regulative limit.
